About me

A fashion designer and brand founder from Beijing, currently based in the UK, with extensive study and work experience across Beijing, Milan, and London, cultivating a rich cross-cultural artistic perspective. Her works have been showcased in Milan, Paris, and London, and featured at major platforms such as China Fashion Week and The Splendid Dunhuang Night. From 2017 to 2020, she served as the Head Designer at EVE CINA, leading over a hundred shows and interdisciplinary projects.

In 2024, she founded her label YF, which advocates simplicity, modernity, and exquisite taste. Viewing world civilizations through the lens of Eastern aesthetics, the brand reinterprets classical culture and fashion through forward-thinking craftsmanship. Aimed at an audience that values artistic sensibility and cultural depth, YF promotes accessible luxury through clothing, accessories, and culturally inspired design.

As both designer and educator, she is a Guest Lecturer at the University of Southampton (MA Fashion Design), a member of the Fashion Art Committee of the China Fashion Designers Association, and a jury member of the IBDA Busan International Design Awards 2024. Her research and practice center on reimagining traditional craftsmanship within contemporary contexts, integrating innovative materials and social engagement to preserve and evolve cultural heritage.
